Our lake house getaway is on the water in a no-wake zone at the mouth of a secluded channel so you can swim or fish off the lighted dock in calm waters. You will have a nice view of the main body of Lake Granbury from the dock and the covered porch. Personal watercraft and boats can be tied off to the dock.
This house is in a very well-maintained neighborhood just a few minutes from the historic downtown square of Granbury. The square has outstanding shopping, dining, and entertainment options, and plenty of parking. You will be able to enjoy the best of both worlds – lakefront living plus all the downtown fun stuff!
We have parking on the driveway and street for vehicles and a boat trailer can be parked behind the double-gated fence. Amenities include indoor/outdoor stereo, wet bar, a propane grill, fire pit, board games, corn hole, shuffleboard table, books, movies, a large smart TV, DVD player and DVDs, a giant wall-mounted scrabble board, and a spare monitor for your gaming console.
The kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, and stove/oven, dishes, and basic supplies. Eat at the 2-seat kitchen bar or at the six-seat water-view kitchen table. Relax outside on the large porch which has fans and ample shade, a 4-seat bistro table, and comfy couches. We also have a cozy love seat glider on the terrace for watching sunrises and sunsets or stargazing.
There’s plenty of room inside with a large den and two full bathrooms. The master has a queen bed, the kid’s room has 2 sets of bunk beds, and a third bedroom has a queen bunk bed. The den and master bedroom both have sleeper sofas. Linens and towels are provided and there is a washer and dryer. All the comforts of home are there!
